MAZDA MX-30 R-EV EDITION R

"Edition R" commemorates the return of the rotary engine. Mazda was the first in the world to successfully commercialise the two-rotor rotary engine. It represents our "never stop challenging spirit" and holds a special place in our history. With this special edition, we pay homage to a legendary Mazda engine that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1991.

EXCLUSIVE "EDITION R" FEATURES

The Mazda MX-30 R-EV Edition R adds unique details to give owners a sense of pride in owning a vehicle equipped with a rotary engine thanks to exclusive exterior badging and interior details such as subtle orange highlights. Edition R is finished is an exclusive multi-tone exterior, Jet Black paint framed with Maroon Rouge side panels.

The Mazda MX-30 R-EV is a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) unlike any other. Like a battery-electric vehicle (BEV), the wheels are driven exclusively by electric motors. However, unlike other PHEVs, the petrol engine doesn't power the wheels directly, but acts as a generator to charge the battery. That means you can enjoy uninterrupted electric propulsion wherever you go.
